We fish the calm sheltered waters of Ocean City and Assateague Island. In addition to the fishing , you may see some dolphins, many types of birds and possibly the famous Assateague ponies ; so be on the lookout and have your camera ready!!!

Our captains that operate the vessel are Coast Guard certified. They have a local knowledge of the waters and over 100 years of combined experience on operating and catching fish.  

Our 1st mate Serge has been with us for 18 years. He's the best in the business and will take good care of you ! ( Don't forget to tip the mates ). He knows his stuff and this is the reason he is still with us and not a "former crew member". 

All our crew members are enrolled in the mandatory USCG random drug testing program. Safety is very important to us.

The Tortuga is a the original boat that has been fishing the bays of Ocean City since 1984. She is a 54' diesel powered fiberglass vessel which is U.S.C.G. inspected yearly. She is powered by a 375hp Caterpillar diesel which makes her the fastest boat in the entire bay fleet. There is a restroom on board. The entire boat is kept clean & SANITIZED AFTER EACH TRIP.

NO EXTRA CHARGES FOR BAIT, HOOKS, SINKERS  & FISHING LICENSE

Hooks and sinkers are covered with the rod rental if you loose a hook and a sinker new one will be provided at no additional cost. Lost rod is not covered.

Personal rods are welcome

There is plenty of FREE No Hassle Dockside Parking at our Marina. It can be a problem elsewhere. 

Don't pay to park, risk a ticket or even get towed !

Just a heads up ! IF YOU'RE TOLD THERE IS NO DOCKSIDE PARKING ; THERE IS NOT ANY PARKING Don't be told to park on private property illegally in a  lot on a so called municipal lot ( It is not for use for commercial business ) Both are illegal . Be careful!

NO SENSE TAKING CHANCES AND ENDING UP WITH A BIG TOW BILL

Tickets are available online or by phone or walk up. Don't forget to go into the tackle shop to get your boarding pass.

 We suggest getting to the boat about a half hour prior to departure time. A line will form on the dock and the first to arrive will be the first to board. They usually begin boarding about 20 minutes prior to departure. We have cold drinks and snacks for sale onboard. We do not have any adult beverages, however you may bring a small cooler with some beers if you like.

No hard liquor allowed and keep in mind this is a family oriented boat. The Capt will have some easy listening radio station on while you fish ; it will be low as background music. Big loud radios are not permitted so bring your ear phones if you want to listen to your music.
